GRAND SPECIAL RESERVE
This 50th Anniversary Special Edition is a blend of specially selected rums aged in oak casks for up to half a century, imbuing each drop with rich complexity. Its flavours are augmented by almost equally old fine rums in the style of the historic Albion, Skeldon and La Bonne Intention Estates, a salute to the versatility of our vintage French Savelle Stills.
Finished with a soupcon of aged pot stills rums surviving from our heritage Double Wooden Pot and a since discontinued John Dore copper kettle. It’s special release marks Guyana’s Golden Anniversary - a toast to 50 years of independent nationhood. Six hundred bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes
This rum is full bodied and complex with notes of coffee, bittersweet dark chocolate and a hint of orange peel.

SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY
LIMITED EDITION
Quite like Dr. Yesu Persaud, the Special Anniversary Edition rum – made to celebrate his 90th birthday - is an embodiment of the indomitable ‘Diamond Estate’ spirit, and brings together centuries of artisanship from the Stills originally situated at the Diamond Distillery; the Copper Coffey Stills, the Tri-Canada Re-distillation Still and the High Ester Copper Pot Still.
The bright medley of honey, almond, orange and banana aromas that evolve from these metal Stills are enriched by the Double and Single Wooden Pot Stills. Ninety bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes
A lingering aftertaste of licorice and dark chocolate that follow the slight pucker of green apples, and the rich notes of dried fruits and caramelised figs that lead on the palate.

Each rum in this unparalleled collection of rare and precious single marque aged rums is produced in one of our historic stills and further aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
ENMORE 1993
This very rare Demerara Rum has been distilled on the Wooden Continuous Coffey Still, aged in former bourbon barrels, bottled as a limited release.
Tasting Notes
Silky smooth with vanilla, followed by deep caramel, toffee, coconut, pecan , pumpkin with hints of clove and nutmeg. The body is medium-heavy, perfectly balanced with a long, thick caramel-sweet finish and ripe fruit notes, but still with a pleasingly dry finish.

PORT MOURANT 1999
This very rare Demerara Rum has been distilled on the Wooden Double Pot Still, aged in former bourbon barrels, bottled as a limited release.
Tasting Notes
A bouquet of pot still molasses based aromas with dark chocolate/toffee, smoke, aged tobacco, coffee, molasses, mild anise and vanilla aromas with hints of sweet cut-grass. The flavours continue where the aromas left off, with smoke, charred wood, tobacco, peat, mild licorice and again the fruity molasses. The body is medium-heavy, with a slight alcohol taste for delivering the flavours with a finish of charred wood and mild licorice.

VERSAILLES 2002
This very rare Demerara Rum has been distilled on the Wooden Single Pot Still, aged in former bourbon barrels, bottled as a limited release.
Tasting Notes
Slightly briny and nutty notes along with sweet aromatic notes of honey and caramel, and spices like vanilla, cinnamon and liquorice. Sweet and savoury notes are nicely balanced, like salted toffee, with familiar notes of oak, dried fruit like apricots, and nuts, like hazelnut and almonds.

MASTER BLENDER’S
LIMITED EDITION
This El Dorado Master Blender’s Special Edition is a blend of three rums, specially selected by our Master Blender from our Enmore Wooden Coffey Still, Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and our French Savelle Still. These rums were laid down in oak barrels for 10 years to produce a full bodied, well balanced sipper.

This blend offers lively expressions of baked apples that delightfully transcends into an interplay of subtle spices and oaky notes.

The Demerara region has established a reputation over the last 300 years for producing the best rums in the world. Demerara Distillers Limited has perfected this craft and proudly produces a fine range of El Dorado Rums including the highly awarded El Dorado 12 Year Old. Our Blenders have skilfully extended this tradition into a new range of El Dorado Limited Edition Special Cask Finish 12 Year Old rums.
MADEIRA DRY
The El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum has been beautifully enhanced by further seasoning for over one year in French Oak casks that were previously seasoned with Madeira Dry Wine from a single estate on the island of Madeira.
Tasting Notes
Subtle notes of toasted nuts with a full bodied palate followed by a lingering aftertaste of citrus peel.

MADEIRA SWEET
The El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum has been beautifully enhanced by further seasoning for over one year in French Oak casks that were previously seasoned with sweet Madeira Wine from a single estate on the island of Madeira.

Full bodied palate with hints of spices and caramelised tropical fruits.

PORTUGUESE RED WINE
The El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum has been beautifully enhanced by further seasoning for over one year in oak casks that were previously seasoned with Portuguese Red Wine and slightly toasted for spirits maturation.
Tasting Notes
Beautifully defined, full bodied palate with hints of tropical fruits and dried fruits.

RUBY PORT
The El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum has been beautifully enhanced by further seasoning for over one year in French Oak casks that were previously seasoned with Ruby Port Wine from a single Quinta in the Porto Region of the Douro Valley.

Full bodied palate with hints of spices and a mellow finish of honey and chocolate.

SAUTERNES
The El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum has been beautifully enhanced by further seasoning for over one year in French Oak casks that were previously used to age Sweet White Sauternes Wine from a single estate in the Bordeaux region.

Full bodied and well balanced honeyed palate with lingering aftertaste of tobacco and dried fruits.

WHITE PORT
Our award winning 12 Year Old rum has been beautifully enhanced by further seasoning for over one year in French oak casks that were previously seasoned with White Port Wine from a single quinta in the Porto region of the Douro Valley.
